Art History Brush (Painting Tool, Shortcut Y): Exposed a earlier state, but applies effects. Click then shift click brushes straight; drag + shift constrains 0°, 45°, 90°; [ or ] changes diameter; shift + [ or ] changes hardness.

What you will find in the Option Bar.

Icon: What tool is selected.

Tool Preset: This tool has an Art History 21 pixel brush.

Brush View and Menu: Size and visual of current brush selected. Pop down menu opens the Brush Panel.

Brush Panel Icon: Selecting this open Brush Presets.

Mode Menu (Pop down): Select from Darken, Lighten, Hue, Saturation, Color, Luminosity.

Opacity: This controls Opacity Level. 1 – 100 %.

Stylus Opacity Control: When graphic tablet is in use. Selecting this allow pressure to control Opacity, when off brush presets control opacity.

Style: This controls the style of the stroke. Select from the following options: Tight Short, Tight Medium, Tight Long, Dab, Tight Curl, Tight Curl Long, Loose Curl, Loose Curl Long.

Area: Select this in pixels:

Tolerance: Set from 0 – 100%.

Pen Pressure Icon: This allows graphic pen pressure to control size. When off Brush Pre-Set controls pressure.
